Movies, Music, and Mindfulness: 2020 Survival Stories

If you feel like doing or saying something, you should take the time to do it. Plan for it if you must, but just do it, because the opportunity might not come back.

Welcome back to the second edition of our 2020 survival series! We’re kicking it off with Nehme Hamadeh, a 26-year-old marketing agent living in Dubai, with a passion for all things film and music.

For his 2020, Nehme shared that exercise and taking days off have played key roles in keeping his physical and mental self healthy, with rest and relaxation being at the core of his wellness routine. He also found some time to pick up music production as a dream-turned hobby, sighting it as one of his favorite things to do to express himself.

Apart from music, watching movies has also been a great pastime for Nehme, and he wholeheartedly recommends Hayao Miyazaki’s animated feature Porco Rosso if you ever want to take your mind off things.

As for what 2020 has taught him, Nehme shared that “If you feel like doing or saying something, you should take the time to do it. Plan for it if you must, but just do it, because the opportunity might not come back,” and we couldn’t agree more.
